Belgas PSX3 Slam Shut Valve

The BelGAS PSX3 Series slam shut valve is available for use wherever immediate termination of pressure transference is needed. Operating on preset values, the PSX3 stops downstream flow if the pressure traveling through the standalone valve exceeds the upper or lower set limits. If the PSX3 is tripped due to an over- or under-pressure condition, a manual reset is required to re-establish flow to the pipeline

Overpressure or under pressure closure devices protect downstream operations and equipment if the pressure traveling through the standalone device exceeds the set point. It also ensures that when gas pressure drops below the set point for maintaining pilot light or critical flow, gas flow shuts down until an inspection and a manual reset occur. The PSX3 slam shut valve comes in either internal or external pressure registration, with easy conversion between the two.
