Hot Water Turbine
The Carlon Hot Water Meter is a turbine-style that effectively measures the water in high-volume industrial applications accurately with minimal maintenance.
This model of Carlon Water Meter provides a high degree of accuracy with low maintenance costs for high volume applications of metering hot water. The water turbine meters are available in sizes from 3/4″ to 6″, with larger sizes available upon request. Carlon offers temperature ratings for its hot water turbine meters at 250 °F. These turbine meters provide +/- 2% accuracy at flow rates from 1 GPM up to 2,500 GPM. Our turbine meters are available in totalizing and electric contact configurations so that you can run your other process equipment (Carlon valves, timers, controllers, and chemical pumps) directly from our turbine meter.
Offering These Advantages and Options:
- Hot Water Meters for temperatures up to 250°F in sizes from 3/4″ to 6″
- All available in both Totalizing and Electric Contacting Models for the control of water treatment equipment, such as chemical feed pumps, timers, valves, etc
- Consult factory for larger size meters; 8″ to 20″.
- On 2″ larger sizes, register can rotate 340 degrees for ease of reading meter after installation

Water Meter Connections:
Threaded (3/4″ to 1 1/2″) or ANSI flange (2″-6″) connections furnished with each turbine meter ordered.
