Linc Energy Systems is now an authorized distributor for Honeywell high-pressure regulators, the HON 5020 (formerly the RMG 5020).
The EPA has updated rules, forcing energy producers to place more emphasis on proactive maintenance programs. Included below are valve actuator maintenance tips on stem seals and using filter dryers to keep your pipeline in compliance.
Recently, GPL Odorizers and Linc Energy Systems were challenged by a client's problematic low-flow odorization site. Both companies worked together and conferred with Sage Metering, who designed the GPL 100 Thermal Mass Flow Meter for low-flow odorization use. Here is a case study on this application.

Linc Energy systems not only sells leading products to the natural gas industry, but we also have a reputable service division devoted to pipeline patrolling to help keep our clients in compliance with DOT/PHMSA regulations. Recently we conducted a patrolling project and this post shares some of the key insights on the project that are helpful to patrolling technicians.
The DOT/PHMSA requires that pipeline owners maintain their natural gas pipelines, and patrolling is a requirement for transmission lines. Pipeline patrolling is an inspection of natural gas pipelines to identify irregularities that are, or can become, a hazard so that they can be repaired.
Linc Energy Systems conducts patrolling of natural gas pipelines, mandated by DOT/PHMSA regulations. The rules require that underground pipes be maintained and make available appropriate documentation supporting it. This applies to all gas lines, whether transmission or distribution, and whether public or private. In an earlier post, I share the leak survey requirements. This article pertains to the regulations of patrolling transmission lines.
While Linc Energy Systems is known for providing leading products to the natural gas industry, we also have a reputable service division devoted to performing natural gas leak surveys. Here is a review of a recent project we conducted in New Mexico.
Linc Energy Systems conducts gas leak surveys on both natural gas distribution and transmission pipelines which are required by the gas pipeline leak regulations (DOT/PHMSA). Here we share the regulations concerning leak surveys.
