FRP products offer a simple and cost effective approach to retrofit, reinforce or repair concrete, masonry, steel and wood structures.
Compared to conventional alternatives, CarbonWrap Solutions’ fiber-reinforced polymers FRP products strengthen structures in turnkey fashion and at a fraction of the cost. CarbonWrap FRP is a carbon fiber / resin composite that comes in a flexible fabric which can adhere to a structure using a structural epoxy. It also is available in pre-cured strips.

- Other CarbonWrap Retrofit Solutions
CarbonCoat - Protective coatings for caustic environments (steel and concrete)
- Polycon - A fast cure polymer offers a pavement reinforcement system for concrete bridges and pavement repair
- CarbonWrap Fiber Reinforcement Advantages
Corrosion Resistant
- Light weight
- Strong
- Flexible
- Cost effective
- CarbonWrap Reinforcement System vs. Conventional Methods
Costs less
- Easy turnkey installation saves installation time
- Lasts longer
- Does not change the original shape of the structure
- Minimal access required for installation
- Reinforcing adds only 1/8” to the thickness of the structure
- Adds negligible weight to the structure
- Increases strength and ductility without adding mass
- CarbonWrap Retrofit Applications
Strengthening beams (concrete, steel or wood) and joint reinforcement
- Strengthening columns (concrete or hollow steel tubes) and steel reinforcement
- Reduce explosive-blast force and damage and structural reinforcement
- Strengthening walls (masonry and brick) with fiberglass wall reinforcement mesh
- Increase flexural capacity of concrete slabs and concrete repair
- Strengthening pipes (concrete and steel) and pipeline repair
- Explosion Protection
In addition to concrete reinforcement, masonry repair or simply structural reinforcment, CarbonWrap offers a unique and cost effective blast protection system. Watch this video which illustrates what happens when two unreinforced concrete walls were exposed to 230 pounds of TNT. One wall was protected with energy dissipating CarbonWrap.
